In this class, each participant will learn the basics of making a versatile pie crust, successfully roll it out and fill with a fruit filling. You will receive a guidance to crimp the edges to make your pies look beautiful. The class includes all the ingredients, tools, and a box to carry and take your pie to bake at home! The class is led by Nathanael Gassett (Wero Kitchen), a restaurant trained chef and instructor who moved to the DFW in 2016. Wero has been a featured chef for events at the Kimball Art Museum, Tastemakers, Fort Worth Blackhouse, as well as local community events. He hosted the limited web series Dining with Wero for Visit Fort Worth in 2019 and has made television appearances on NBC’s Texas Today and Telemundo's Acceso Total sharing recipes and cooking tips.
Our cooking classes may be cancelled 48 hours in advance for future class credit. We do not offer refunds on classes, however you are can send someone else in your place or request a credit for future class or a gift receipt.
