In this technique class, you will learn the basics of making steak at home - from choosing the right cuts, tools/equipment you need, and how to cook perfect steak. Then we’ll whip truffle mashed potatoes and honey glazed carrots...and end the class with berry cheesecake. Wine and beer available for purchase at 3rd Street Market. The class is led by Nathanael Gassett (Wero Kitchen), a restaurant trained chef and instructor who moved to the DFW in 2016. Wero has been a featured chef for events at the Kimball Art Museum, Tastemakers, Fort Worth Blackhouse, as well as local community events. He hosted the limited web series Dining with Wero for Visit Fort Worth in 2019 and has made television appearances on NBC’s Texas Today and Telemundo's Acceso Total sharing recipes and cooking tips.
