Service Description

When it comes to hosting, it doesn’t get much better than Middle Eastern style feasts. We’re taking inspiration from across the Middle East, Levant and beyond to bring you a class on how to make falafel and sides to accompany falafel. You’ll master dishes that balance rich spices, fragrant herbs, savory, sweet and tangy all in one - a taste explosion very unique to Middle Eastern cuisine! In this class, we will make falafel, hummus, babaganoush, and tabbouleh. This class is led by Dana Ahmad…Dana - pronounced like Hannah! Dana is born & raised in the UAE and of Palestinian and Turkish descent so naturally, has a very cosmopolitan upbringing, and hosting and cooking for others is her love language. Upon graduating from UT and returning to the UAE for work & life, she finally made DFW her permanent home in 2017. Back in 2021, Dana started Tein W Zaytoun and became a vendor at The Table, with an occasional show at ClearFork Farmer’s Market! When she is not driving to Austin, doing accountant things or talking recipes with her mother and aunt, then you’ll find her fostering puppies and dotting on her nieces, nephews and pets!
